Lauren Mancuso came to us through a friend of a friend, and had just decided to take her longtime photography hobby professional. She had established a business for her new company and wanted a smart website to begin promoting her service.

Photography websites are generally pretty similar - its so much more about showcasing the artist's work than anything else, and since Lauren specializes in taking beautiful pictures of children, babies, and families, we decided to use a child's party invitation as an inspiration for the design. This worked out very well and we had a nice frame for the content and imagery on the site.

We integrated some pre-built Flash slideshow and gallery software to display her pictures, and linked them up to Lauren's Flickr account so that she could easily manage the order of photos shown on any page in the site through Flickr. Given the ease of managing photos on Flickr, this made for a quick and easy administration setup so that Lauren can rotate new photos onto the site whenever she likes.

The result is a simple, clean site that focuses on Lauren's work, not ours.
